Hello FaithyJ.!
Tell us something about yourself, and your writing career. What I enjoy most is the feedback. Whether it's good or bad opinions, both help me progress. I also enjoy thinking of ways to talk about topics in which no other author has talked about before. So I guess you could say… like to explore. Also, I write randomly... Like whenever it hits me. This goes along the lines of not only book writing, but songwriting as well. For example; if I see something or someone says something that triggers an idea in my head, like I mentioned before, I will quickly jot it down in my notes on my phone. Then there are days where I sit in my room with my mood light on, plug in the music and just sit on my bed and write whatever comes to mind. This usually happens later at night because I'm a night owl like my Dad.
With winter break, crazy shopping sprees, and time with the family, you will need these YA novels to help you get you through it all. We know it’s hard to decide what to read next, so we went down the rabbit hole of Goodreads to see which books our community is most excited to read and carefully crafted this list!
Here are the most anticipated YA novels publishing this December! From BookViralBlog Why do some books go viral while the vast majority fall flat? You might think it's about advertising. You might think it's about having a great book or an original idea that inflames the imagination of its readers, or you might think it's luck. Yet what is undisputable is how word of mouth and social influence increasingly combines to drive people to talk about and share the books they have read.
GiveaBook is an online campaign to promote books as gifts and to give back to children in need. For every use of the hashtag #GiveaBook on Facebook and Twitter between November 16th and December 24th, Penguin Random House will donate one book to the literacy charity First Book, up to 35,000 books.
What is your experience as a writer like?
Well, it might come as a surprise to most readers, but the hardest part isn't actually writing. I mean, that doesn't come easy of course... yet it's what comes most natural to most authors, I suppose. But once you finish the book... that's when things really get starting. There's a whole world out there to be discovered... and self-publishing is mostly a jungle rather than a peaceful countryside.
